Elton John & Kiki Dee Lip sing & Evaluation

Evaluation:

At the start of the filming the equipment we used was a HD 1080p recording camera, with a bipod. At the start of recording we used a establish shot what shows the audience the full shot of the artists in the music video and their surroundings.  The shot after we used a low angle shot on one of the students who's acting as Kiki Dee, when looking at the camera, to show the audience to focus on him when he is singing and that he is directing to him. Straight after is a close up on the student acting as Elton John and after the shot a close up on the other artist. We keep making different shots because as the music video is short, we don't want it to be boring and we try to make a cut with the rhythm of the beat. In the editing we cut out the sounds from the filming and used the song that we was singing to. i then looked at all the shots and picked the best ones to use. At the start it was difficult as we had to link the movement of the lip sing to sink with the music but soon got adjusted to it.

Things that we was really good at the filming was that we all put effort in the video, we was all singing to make the lip sing look better in the finished filming and we was all moving around and having fun. We always looked into the lens of the camera when singing.

Areas for improvement are that we should of done single shots of lines that we was singing to make sure we got the correct lyrics and would be much easier to edit and sink with the lip sing. However we filmed the whole thing in different shots what meant that there was a lot of editing.  Also we wasn't in time with the music sometimes when filming and as we never practised we had to se them shots, so the final editing piece was not the best.
